STOP BULLYING!!!

    Hello, every being with a heartbeat! How are you? I've been fine, but this new project of mine made me a little upset.  

    Today's topic is something that almost every single human being experiences at least once in their life. Bullying. The Merriam-Webster dictionary describes bullying as the abuse and mistreatment of someone vulnerable by someone stronger, more powerful, etc. As we were given a task in our class, we chose to raise awareness about this issue.
    The task was to create a video that was telling about something. Our options were making a PSA, explaining how a thing is made, or making up our own story. Nilgün, Zeynep, and I decided to make a PSA to raise awareness about bullying because it affects or has affected everyone at some point in their lives. We did not want to shoot a video of ourselves and edit it; instead, we recorded our voices separately on my laptop, then our expert editor, Nilgün, put the voices together and added some voice effects and a song behind our voices while Zeynep and I found appropriate and copywrite-free images to form our video.
    
    From choosing a topic to recording and editing, the whole process was very fun, with relevant and irrelevant events, but of course there were some constraints.For example, finding a quiet place to record, deciding what we wanted to include in the video, and finding trustworthy articles to support our ideas. However, we managed to make an explanatory video that both portrayed our ideas and drew attention to the matter.
    Personally, I believe this task would be ideal for group work and would improve understanding of the topic covered in the lesson as well as increase interest in the lesson.
